Spell FX covers the magic. This is everything else a hit needs: the swing, the spark, the number that floats up. 70 files, 321 frames, drawn as plain PNG sheets - no shaders, no particle system, no blood. White effects are meant to be tinted in your engine, so one sheet works for every weapon element.

SLASHES & HITS

Seven swings (horizontal, vertical, diagonal, cross, spin, thrust, overhead smash) in white and gold, 128 px, 6 frames. Hit sparks in three sizes and colours, a crit star, floor and shock rings, slash marks on the target.

PROJECTILES

Arrow, bolt, spinning knife, axe and shuriken (8 frames), thrown rock, white and fire trails. Everything points right - rotate in the engine.

BLOCK, PARRY, DODGE

Shield flash, three-arc parry sparks, expanding shock ring, and the floating words to go with them.

MOVEMENT

Landing dust, run dust, slide dust, jump ring, dash streaks, dodge after-image bands, plus full-screen speedlines (radial and horizontal, 640x360).

DAMAGE NUMBERS

Digit sheets (24x24 cells, order in glyphs.json) and the words CRIT, MISS, BLOCK, HEAL, DODGE - each in white, red, gold, green and blue, with a 2 px outline so they read on any background.

WHAT'S INSIDE

Every animation ships as a sheet plus single frames; MANIFEST.csv lists frame count, size and fps. No AI - everything comes from one deterministic script (see NO_AI.txt).
