Why it exists

Every sprite here - the hero in all four directions, the trees, the cottage, the well, the tileset underneath - comes from the Top-Down Pixel Art Starter Pack, which is free and has over 300 files. Nothing was redrawn for the demo. A grid of stills cannot tell you how a top-down hero reads while walking north with a tree in front of him. This can.
